World Bank to provide Rs 622 million grants to Ramgram Municipality



KATHMANDU: The World Bank will provide Rs 622 million in grant to Ramgram Municipality in Nawalparasi (Bardaghat Susta West) district for its urban infrastructure development.

In this regard, the Nepal Urban Governance Infrastructure Project and the municipality have signed an agreement.
The grants come under the Project that is being run with financial assistance from the World Bank. The grants will be used for the management of roads and garbage, said Gupta.

Upgrading of roads from Parasi leading to Nepal-India transit and from Aauchawal to Bhusunapur has been prioritized with the grants, said the municipality.
