Two arrested including APF inspector for taking bribe



BUTWAL: Two persons, including an inspector of the Armed Police Force (APF) working at Gaidhawa in Rupandehi, have been arrested on charge of accepting bribe of Rs 50,000.

Inspector Dadhiram Poudel and Sub Inspector Rajesh Pasi of the Armed Police Force Nepal Security Base Camp Gaidhawa-3 Londihawa Rupandehi were also arrested on Thursday.

Spokesperson of the Butwal-based Commission for Investigation of Abuse of Authority Suresh Bhusal said that the two were taken under control after taking a bribe of Rs 50,000 from the service recipient.

He said that further investigation has been started after the bribe was taken from the service recipients for the purpose of facilitating the operation of the wood furniture industry.
