KATHMANDU: The Cabinet meeting on December 22 took a host of decisions, including reviewing the service charge of the postal service and foreign mail services.

Unveiling the decisions of the meeting Friday, Minister for Communication and Information Technology Gyanendra Bahadur Karki shared that Mahashram Sharma has been appointed as the Chairperson of the National Examinations Board.

Similarly, the government decided to form Industrial and Investment Promotion Fund as per the Industrial Enterprises Act-2076 BS, informed Minister Karki, also the spokesperson of the government.

The decision includes granting approval, in principle, to formulate the Bill relating to legislation and to grant permission in advance for organization and management survey under the Ministry of Land Management, Cooperatives and Poverty Alleviation.

Minister Karki shared that the Cabinet meeting discussed on giving full shape to the Red Cross Society Nepal.
