Government announces public holiday on Christmas



KATHMANDU: The government has announced a public holiday on December 25 on the occasion of Christmas festival.

Unveiling the decisions of the Cabinet meeting convened on December 22, Minister for Communication and Information Technology Gyanendra Bahadur Karki Friday shared that the government decided to declare public holiday on December 25.

Christmas is observed on December 25 to mark the birth of Jesus Christ.
