UML to hold Chitwan district convention on Jan 7-8



CHITWAN: CPN-UML is holding district convention in Chitwan on January 7-8.

The representatives will be selected on January 1.

UML central committee member and district Chairman Parwati Rawal has informed that representatives will be selected from 98 wards and two section committees.

Various sub-committees have been formed to successfully conduct the district convention.

Political and Organizational Report Writing Committee has been formed under the coordination of chairman Rawal.

UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli will inaugurate the district convention virtually on January 7, informed UML Standing Committee member and Bagmati Pradesh In-charge Kashinath Adhikari.

The political dossiers will be submitted on January 7 and the leadership will be elected on January 8.

Around 1,500 representatives will participate in the district convention to elect the leadership.

Leaders Ram Prasad Neupane, Krishna Prasad Bhurtel, Tejendra Bahadur Khadka and Kamal Pathak are in the fray for the post of chairman of UML Chitwan District Committee.
