NC Gen Convention: Jivan Khatri elected president of Bhaktapur Constituency 1



BHAKTAPUR: Constituency-1 working committee members and general convention representatives have been elected in Bhaktapur on Tuesday under the 14th general convention of Nepali Congress (NC).

Jivan Khatri has been elected as the president of Bhaktapur 1. Similarly, Samundra Thapa and Rabin Kumar KC have been elected as secretaries and Ram Kaji Bhuju and Rajeshwor Ban have been elected as joint secretaries.

Pravin Ban, Babu Raja Joshi, Radha Karki (Saru Baniya), Krishna Lal Bhandel, Jagannath Karki, Rajaram Khadka, Dayaman Karmacharya, Hari Prasad Nepal, Pushkar Khatri, Purushottam Lamichhane and Manoj Kumar Thapa have been elected as the delegates from Constituency-1.

Similarly, Subhadra Kafle, Sangita Phuyal, Rupa Thapa, Gangalakshmi Awal, Rajni Jonchhe, Ranjana Kakshapati, Suresh Shrestha, Ratna Sundar Khaitu, Jeevan Bhuju, Keshav Duwal and Hari Krishna Shrestha have been elected as delegates.

All but four of the elected general convention representatives are from the Deuba panel, sources have said.
