NEPSE increases by 27.51 points

KATHMANDU: Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) has increased by 27.51 points on Sunday, the first trading day of the week.

With today’s increment, the index has reached 2584.52 points.

A total of 5.8 million shares of 225 companies traded today resulting in a turnover of 2.77 billion.

Shares of all groups except trade have increased today. Shares of banking group increased by 6 points, development bank group by 72 points, hotel by 43 points, finance by 89 points, and microfinance group by 53 points.

Similarly, shares of the hydropower group increased by 65 points, the life insurance group by 67 points, the non-life insurance group by 39 points, and other groups by 55 points.

Shares of Best Finance and Ridi Hydropower Development Company increased 10 percent today. However, the shares of Mero Finance have declined by 10 percent.
