German national found dead in Thamel

KATHMANDU: A German national has been found dead in Thamel of Kathmandu.

According to Lainchour Police, the foreign national was found dead in a hotel room in Thamel,

David Mitt Jacket, a German national who had been staying at the hotel for three months, is found dead, the police said.

The deceased had been to Nepal in a tourist visa and was said to have come here to meet his Nepali girl-friend.

The body of the deceased is sent to Maharajgunj based Teaching Hospital for postmortem.

The police are interrogating the hotel operator in this regard and other witnesses for details.
