UML SC decides to implement 10 point agreement



KATHMANDU: The Standing Committee (SC) meeting of CPN-UML has decided to implement the ten-point agreement meant to resolve the intra-party conflict.

Speaking to the media after the Tuesday’s SC meeting, UML Secretary Pradip Kumar Gyawali said that the UML party structure would be operational in as before 17 June 2018 status as per the decision.

The party has formed a seven-member task force comprising Vice-Chairman Bhim Rawal, General Secretary Ishwor Pokharel, Deputy General Secretaries Bishnu Prasad Poudel and Ghanshyam Bhusal, Standing Committee members Surendra Pandey and Lekhraj Bhatt.

Gyawali informed that the party has decided to hold the tenth general convention on 26-28 November.

UML has also decided to convene a meeting of districts and sister organizations from September 1 to 5.

Similarly, the central committee meeting of the party will be held on August 26.
