NEPSE decreases by 56.03 points

KATHMANDU: Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) has decreased by 56.03 points on Tuesday.

With today’s decline, the index has come down to 3124.87 points.

A total of 25.31 million shares of 225 companies traded today resulting in a turnover of Rs 16.12 billion.

Shares of all groups except finance and non-life insurance declined today.

Shares of the largest development bank group decreased by 244 points, while shares of hydropower declined by 232 points.

Likewise, shares of the banking group declined by 202 points, trade by 62 points, hotel by 17 points, manufacturing by 157 points, others by 30 points, microfinance by 31 points, and life insurance group by 143 points.

Shares of 16 hydropower companies shrunk l 10 percent today in a negative circuit.

The top 31 companies in the list of the biggest losers belong to the hydropower group. However, the shares of Gurans Finance and Jeevan Bikas Microfinance increased 10 percent.
