SC orders to furnish case file related to NEA MD Ghising’s appointment



KATHMANDU: The Supreme Court (SC) has ordered to furnish case file related to the appointment of Kul Man Ghising as Managing Director of Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) in a writ petition filed against Ghising’s appointment.

A single bench of Chief Justice Cholendra Shumsher Rana Tuesday ordered to present the documents within three days before considering to issue an interim order. The government had re-appointed Ghising as the Managing Director of NEA and appointed Hitendra Dev Shakya to Water and Energy Commission (WEC).

Shakya had filed the petition against the government move of appointing Ghising by transferring him.
