Gagan Thapa urges NC to make active members list public immediately



KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress leader Gagan Thapa has demanded the immediate release of the list of active members.

Expressing his solidarity with the sit-ins of district presidents and cadres at the party’s central office in Sanepa, Lalitpur on Tuesday, Thapa said that the list of active members should be published immediately.

NC’s committee formed to resolve the dispute over active membership submitted its report to President Sher Bahadur Deuba on Monday.

“I would like to draw the attention of the President to make the list of active members’ public immediately,” Thapa said in the party office premises.

NC has decided to hold its 14th general convention in Kathmandu from November 25.
