KATHMANDU: The CPN-UML’s youth wing Youth Force has announced 1,101-member Kathmandu Valley committee.

A gathering of the UML was held at Karki Banquet in Babar Mahal, Kathmandu, Saturday, to announce formation of Youth Force valley command. The valley-level committee is formed under the leadership of Youth Force’s co-chair Pushpa Shrestha.

UML General Secretary Ishwar Pokharel attending the gathering as chief guest. Earlier, UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli was expected to attend the event but he did not show up.

Before the event started, Youth Force cadres rallied from Maitighar to New Baneshwor in a show of force.

The UML revived its formerly-dissolved aggressive youth outfit last week as UML Chair Oli was set to leave the prime minister’s residence in Baluwatar.
