KATHMANDU: A team of Chinese Poly Changda Engineering Company has arrived in Kathmandu to construct the Dhedre-Len Danda tunnel highway under the Kathmandu-Terai Fast Track Road Project.
The team has arrived in Kathmandu via a chartered flight from Guangzhou in coordination with the Nepal Army amidst the prohibitory order imposed due to COVID-19.
A 14-member team of experts including the project manager has arrived to design the tunnel, informed Santosh Ballav, the spokesperson of the Nepal Army.
Chinese company Poly Changda had signed a contract on May 14 on the construction of Makwanpur-based Dhedre-Len Danda tunnel highway at the cost of Rs 28,530,000,000.
