Nepal records 7,425 new coronavirus cases in last 24 hours

Kathmandu Valley witnesses 2,785 fresh COVID-19 cases

KATHMANDU: Nepal recorded a total of 7,425 new cases of coronavirus infection in the past 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 7,220  persons have tested positive for COVID-19 through the RT-PCR method while 205 have been tested positive through the Antigen method.

According to the Ministry, 1,806 persons in Kathmandu, 681 in Lalitpur, and 298 in Bhaktapur have been tested positive for the pandemic virus, making the capital valley’s fresh coronavirus cases 2,785 in the past 24 hours.

Meanwhile, 7,135 persons have returned home after complete health recovery from COVID-19.

According to the Ministry, 185 people have succumbed to COVID-19 in the past 24 hours.
