Police take action against 1,767 vehicles for violating prohibitory ban

KATHMANDU: Police have taken under control 1,767 vehicles violating the prohibitory ban in various districts in the past 24 hours.

Of the vehicles, 379 are four-wheelers and 1,388 are motorcycles.

Meanwhile, police also distributed free masks to 769 people in the last 24 hours under its ‘Where is Your Mask?’ campaign to prevent and reduce the risk of new variant of Covid-19.

Moreover, 24,266 people have been alerted through awareness programs across the country.
