PM Oli a ‘broker’ and pawn of alien forces: Prachanda

KAVRE: Chairman of the Communist Party of Nepal (Maoist Center) Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has accused Prime Minister KP Oli of being a ‘broker’ and façade of alien forces in the country.

Addressing a program organized by the Union of National Industries & Commerce, Nepal in Kavre, on Wednesday, former Prime Minister and Maoist Center Chair Prachanda said that PM Oli has been used by those who did not like the changes of 2006/07.

“PM Oli has been used by those elements which tried to prevent the election of the Constituent Assembly, the promulgation of the constitution from the Constituent Assembly and the unity among the communist parties, yet had failed time and again,” he said, adding, “The alien forces which did not like the glorious changes embarked by the people’s movement used him.”

Prachanda held PM Oli’s autocratic ambition and self-centric politics responsible for making the latter a puppet in the hand of those forces.

“There was an attempt to dissolve the parliament, damage the constitution and destroy democracy, they were searching a person to act pivotal and found that persona in PM Oli, hence used him for the same,” he claimed.

The Maoist Center chair criticized the Supreme Court verdict nullifying the NCP unity as unnatural and added that they were now very serious and cautious against the conspiracy hatched against the political changes in the country.
