NC calls CC meeting on April 2

KATHMANDU: Main opposition party Nepali Congress (NC) has called its Central Committee (CC) meeting on April 2.

NC Office Secretary Krishna Prasad Poudel informed the media on Wednesday that the party has called its CC meeting to discuss the current political developments and the way to end the current political impasse.

NC is criticized for its dilemma on whether to support Prime Minister KP Oli’s government or table a no-confidence motion against it.

NC President Sher Bahadur Deuba is alleged of sounding softer against PM Oli whereas senior leader Ram Chandra Poudel has been advocating for the banishment of the Oli-led government.
