KATHMANDU: Singer Anju Pant has tied her nuptial knot with Ilam’s Thir Koirala, who had been in love with her for over a year.
Although Thir had confirmed publicly about their engagement, both had been avoiding to make the wedding day public.
Anju had met Thir during an interview which had brought both close to each other.
Of late, Thir is seen sharing most of the Anju’s photos.
It is believed that among the people encouraging for their marriage was Anju’s daughter Paritoshika, who had had been telling the media for some time that her mother should get married.
Anju had also said that she was thinking of getting married due to the pressure from her daughter. Anju got divorced from singer and musician Manoj Raj over a decade ago.
The wedding ceremony that passed relatively unnoticed by many had been attended only by the close relatives from Anju and Thir’s families.
