Covid Vaccine: Health Ministry to inoculate second dose one month after first dose

KATHMANDU: The government has decided to give the second dose of coronavirus vaccines a month after the first dose.

Prime Minister KP Oli is scheduled to inaugurate the vaccination campaign on January 24. The ministry has stated that the vaccination campaign will be inaugurated virtually at 10 am.

The government is preparing to launch a vaccination campaign in all seven states on the same day.

The ministry has also started sending vaccines to all the seven states from Sunday. According to the Ministry, the vaccine was sent to Pokhara this morning for Gandaki.

The government is preparing to send vaccines to other states today as well.

Earlier, the ministry had appointed coordinators in all seven states for vaccine management.

The Government of India on Thursday provided one million doses of Covshield vaccine to Nepal as grant aid.
