BIRGUNJ: An 11-year-old girl has been raped in Birgunj-1, Chhapkaiya.

Police have arrested Indian national Nehal Miya on the charge of rape.

The law enforcement agency is preparing to seek judicial custody of Miya after presenting him before Parsa District Court on Sunday.

Spokesperson at the District Police Office, Parsa, Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Manojit Kunwar said an investigation was underway after arresting Miya who was on the run after the incident.
