PM Cup: Bagmati to play against Lumbini; Province 2 to face Sudurpaschim



KATHMANDU: Two matches of Group ‘B’ have been scheduled under Prime Minister Cup Cricket Tournament on Sunday.

Bagmati Province will take on Lumbini Province at a match to be played at Mulpani Cricket Ground while, Province 2 and Sudurpaschim Province will compete at the Kirtipur-based TU Cricket Ground.

Bagmati, which has been unbeaten after winning three games in a row, is close to the semifinals. But the place in the semi-final has not been decided yet.

Therefore, if it beats Lumbini, Bagmati will not have to wait for the result of other games and will reach the semifinals by winning Group ‘B’.

Lumbini will have to beat Bagmati to maintain its chances of entering the semifinals and will also have to wait for the result of the final match between the Nepal Police Club and Province-2.

Tribhuvan Army and APF have already secured a place in the semifinals from Group ‘A’.
