KATHMANDU: CPN-UML central member and National Youth Federation in-charge Mahesh Basnet has announced his candidature for the post of secretary at the party’s 10th National General Convention.
Speaking at a program in the capital Tuesday, Basnet announced his candidacy for secretary. He expressed confidence that the delegates from all over the country will endorse him with overwhelming majority in recognition of the role he has played in the party.
He also claimed that party Chair KP Sharma Oli would be the unanimous chair again from the tenth general convention to be held in Chitwan from November 26-28.
