UML Chair Oli opines all judges should resign

KATHMANDU: Regarding the crisis in judiciary and the protest against Chief Justice Cholendra Shumsher Rana, CPN-UML Chairman KP Oli has opined that all judges should resign.

While legal practitioners, Nepal Bar Association and even Supreme Court judges have been of the opinion that Chief Justice Rana should resign or offer way out to the ongoing crisis, the UML Chair said that all judges should resign.

Interacting with the editors on Tuesday, Oli said, “Considering the allegations against the Chief Justice and his settings in the court, I see a situation where everyone should resign.”

He claimed that getting one person responsible for all irregularities will not address the concerns and added that everyone involved that worked in connection and setting has to be booked as well.
