NEPSE decreases by 32.31 points today

KATHMANDU: Nepal Stock Exchange Ltd (NEPSE) has decreased by 32.31 points on Tuesday.

With today’s decline, the index has come down to 2733.12 points.

A total of 7.44 million shares of 227 companies traded today resulting in a transaction of Rs 4.16 billion.

All subgroups except others have declined.

As the price of Nepal Telecom increased, the subgroup remained green at 19 points. The banking group declined by 15 points, trade by 45 points, hotel, and tourism by 93 points, development bank by 119 points, hydropower by 75 points, finance by 88 points, non-life insurance by 201 points, manufacturing by101 points, microfinance by 56 and life insurance subgroup declined by 189 points.

Only 14 companies’ share prices have increased today. The value of 171 companies declined while the value of two companies remained unchanged. The value of human microfinance increased the most by 10 percent. Similarly, the price of Nepal Telecom has increased by Rs 36.80 per share. ICFC Finance decreased the most by 5.8 percent.
