UML leader Nembang stakes claim for senior vice-chairman



KATHMANDU: CPN-UML leader Subash Chandra Nembang has staked claim for the post of senior vice-chairman in the party’s upcoming general convention.

Sources said he has initiated discussions with party leader close to in this regard.

Nembang, who has been stressing on consensus, has said that he will contest for the vice-chairman post if there is election.

It should be noted that party General Secretary Ishwor Pokharel has also staked claim for senior vice-chairman.

The CPN-UML is is holding its 10th General Convention from November 26-28 in Chitwan.
