Nepal Bar handing over memorandum to NC, others



KATHMANDU: The agitating Nepal Bar Association (NBA) is submitting a memorandum to the ruling Nepali Congress and other parties on Tuesday.

The Nepal Bar has been organizing protest protests demanding the resignation of Chief Justice Cholendra Shumsher Rana.

The Nepal Bar and Supreme Court Bar are handing over a memorandum to CPN (Unified Socialist) and the opposition Nepal Mazdoor Kisan Party.

The Nepal Bar had on Monday handed over a letter to the CPN-UML, Maoist Center, Janata Samajwadi, Rastriya Janamorcha, and the Speaker and the Chairperson of the National Assembly.

Legal practitioners led by Nepal Bar President Chandeshwar Shrestha and Supreme Bar President Purnaman Shakya will hand over the memorandum to the political parties.
