CPN-UML holding Standing Committee today



KATHMANDU: Main opposition CPN-UML is holding a Standing Committee (SC) meeting today.

The meeting called at Tulsilal Memorial Foundation in Chyasal, Lalitpur at 3 pm Monday has been rescheduled for today.

Secretary of the UML Central Office Sher Bahadur Tamang said the meeting was postponed till 11 am Tuesday. “Monday’s meeting was not possible as leaders were busy preparing for the general convention. It has been postponed till 11 am today,” said Tamang.

The agenda of the Standing Committee meeting is to discuss the nomination of 5 percent of the delegates participating in the UML General Convention, among other preparatory things.
