Nepal Police distribute 15,891 masks in last 24 hours

KATHMANDU: Nepal Police has distributed 15,891 masks free of cost in the last 24 hours.

The police so far distributed nearly one million masks to the people in the last four months.

The police had launched the mask distribution on April 19 early this year.

According to the Police Headquarters, a total of 945 thousand masks were distributed to the people in a bid to contain the spread of coronavirus.

The safety materials were distributed under the nationwide campaign ‘Where is your mask?’

The Nepal Police had launched the nationwide awareness campaign to contain the spread of coronavirus at a time when new variant of coronavirus was spreading in the country.
