Nepse takes nosedive in first two hours

KATHMANDU: Nepal Stock Exchange (Nepse) has witnessed a steep fall in the share prices in the first two and a half hours on Wednesday, the fourth trading day of the week.

The benchmark index took a plunge by 54.82 points to land at 2859.01 during the period.

A total of 10,355,504 units of shares of 214 companies were sold for Rs 4,716,361,558 during the period.

The share value has gone down in all the sub-groups. Liberty Energy Company, Barun Hydropower Company, Multi-purpose Finance Company among others have witnessed fall in their share prices during the period.
