KATHMANDU: The floods, that have already taken a heavy toll in various places of Nepal, have occurred in the Indrawati and Melamchi rivers yet again.

With the reoccurrence of the floods in both the rivers, the water level at the confluence Dolalghat has reached the danger level, informed the Flood Forecasting Division.

With the reoccurrence of the floods, the people living in the Melamchi Bazaar and those along the river banks have been alerted.

The floods are likely to incur damages to Arniko Highway and Dolalghat Bridge, said the Division.

The massive floods that took place on June 15 had inundated Melamchi Bazaar, incurring a loss of lives and properties.

Thousands of people have been rendered homeless in the Melamchi Bazaar and Helambu rural municipality due to the floods.
