NEPSE reaches 2,528.95 points gaining 14.57 points today



KATHMANDU: The NEPSE index has increased by 0.58 percent or 14.57 points compared to the previous day taking the index point 2528.95 at the closing time.

The index gained in the overall market movement today, going as high as 2,531.04. With this, total volatility of 34.66 points was witnessed in the trading session.

10,276,710 shares traded hands via 61,422 transactions. The trading of 208 scrips brought the total market turnover to a little over Rs. 5.14 billion.

While the float index gained 1.08 points and closed at 173.95, the Sensitive index became at 448.89 after gaining 0.09 points.

Nepal Infrastructure Bank Limited (NIFRA) has the highest individual scrip turnover of a little over Rs. 526 million. s shares also traded the most.

The eight highest gainers including Salt Trading Corporation have technically hit the 10% positive circuit today.

Meanwhile, Panchakanya Mai Hydropower Limited (PMHPL) lost the most 4.15 percent. The share price of the company has become Rs 185.

Out of 13 groups which came into business, the index of the largest trading group increased by 9.34 percent. The Salt Trading Company’s rise boosted the group up.

The “Manufacturing and processing” group lost the most 0.76 percent today.
