PM Oli rules out possibility of Prachanda or Nepal becoming PM even if HoR reinstated

KATHMANDU: Prime Minister KP Oli has ruled out the possibility of Pushpa Kamal Dahal “Prachanda” and Madhav Kumar Nepal becoming the prime minister even if the House of Representatives was reinstated.

Stating that Prachanda and Nepal will start vying for the premiership, PM Oli said, “Their desire of becoming the Prime Minister will not be fulfilled.”

Stating that Prachanda and Nepal will go ahead with their game-plan to become the prime minister if the HoR was reinstated, PM Oli said possibilities are that they might even approach him to support him for the same.

Addressing a meeting of the Nepal Communist Party-affiliated Youth Association of Nepal in Kathmandu Tuesday, PM Oli dubbed the faction led by Prachanda-Nepal as a “pile of garbage”.

PM Oli also urged party cadres not to get confused about the party’s election symbol asking them to remain assured of getting the “sun” symbol.

“Only our party deserves to be called a political party in the country,” PM Oli added.

“There is no other party that deserves to be a trustworthy party,” he said.
