‘Nepal Super League’ to be held from April 24



KATHMANDU: Nepal’s first every franchise football league ‘Nepal Super League’ is all set to be organized from April 24 in Dashrath Stadium.

The league is being organized by Nepal Sports and Event Management with technical support from the All Nepal Football Association (ANFA).

A press conference was held on Monday in this regard.

Participating teams will be cities-based franchises representing various provinces. The names and owners of the teams will be made public soon.

Each team will have 20 players, including foreign players. The players will be categorized by ANFA and will be selected through auction. A total of 19 games will be played in the tournament in a single round-robin format.
