Kathmandu Valley witnesses 109 fresh COVID-19 cases

KATHMANDU: As many as 109 persons have been infected with COVID-19 in the Kathmandu Valley in the last 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 80 cases have been confirmed in Kathmandu, 9 in Bhaktapur, and 20 in Lalitpur.

Meanwhile, the country recorded a total of 232 new cases of coronavirus infection in the past 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, the coronavirus tally reached 269,180 in the country as of Saturday afternoon.

Likewise, the Ministry shared that now the country has 3,452 reported active cases of the virus.

In the past 24 hours, altogether 386 infected people got recovery from the virus infection.

So far, 263,734 people recovered from the coronavirus infection in the country.

Similarly, eight persons succumbed to the virus across the country in the past 24 hours, hitting the total COVID-19 related deaths to 1,994.
