Nepal’s COVID-19 death toll reaches 1,994 as eight more die



KATHMANDU: As many as eight COVID-19 patients succumbed to the pandemic in the last 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, the new deaths have taken the country’s death toll from the coronavirus to 1,994 as of Saturday afternoon.

Likewise, the country recorded a total of 232 new cases of coronavirus infection in the past 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, the coronavirus tally reached 269,180 in the country as of Saturday afternoon.

Likewise, the Ministry shared that now the country has 3,452 reported active cases of the virus.

In the past 24 hours, altogether 386 infected people got recovery from the virus infection. So far, 263,734 people recovered from the coronavirus infection in the country.
