KATHMANDU: Minister for Youth and Sports Dawa Tamang reached four hours late to address a program organized in his home district as he had to face black flags in his home district Sindhupalchowk.

The locals of Indrawati-4, Takure blocked the road by felling the trees and showed the minister black flags.

Due to the blockade, Minister Tamang had to stop at Melamchi for four hours. Many protesters showing the flags have been arrested by the police.

Minister Tamang is close to Home Minister Ram Bahadur Thapa ‘Badal’.

Although Tamang has joined the KP Oli faction of the Nepal Communist Party (NCP), the majority of cadres of the NCP are in Prachanda- Nepal faction.

The locals of Tamang’s home district got irate when Tamang joined the Oli faction along with Home Minister Thapa.
