Leopard found dead in Dang

DANG: A leopard was found dead in Ajmamari Community Forest in Lamahi, Dang on Saturday.

Youths had informed the forest office after seeing a dead leopard.

It is estimated that the leopard died two days ago. It is believed that the leopard may have fallen into the trap set to kill the animal as a trap-like mark has been found on the leopard’s neck.

Assistant Forest Officer Puran Chaudhary informed that the dead leopard was managed by Division Forest Office, Deukhuri.
