US Embassy’s Deputy Political Counselor meets RPP Chair Lingden



KATHMANDU: Deputy Political Counselor Mark Templer of the US Embassy in Kathmandu paid a courtesy call on Rastriya Prajatrantra Party (RPP) Chairman Rajendra Lingden at the party’s central office in Dhumbarahi today.

During the meeting, Templer congratulated Linden on behalf of the US Embassy on his recent election as party Chairman.

During the meeting, Chairman Lingden said that RPP was committed to democracy, liberalism, rule of law, human rights, freedom of the press, religious freedom, and freedom of expression.

During the meeting, various issues including strengthening bilateral relations with the United States were discussed.
