RPP electing general convention representatives from today



KATHMANDU: Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) is holding an election from today to elect representatives for the general convention scheduled for December 1-2 in Kathmandu.

The election is being held from November 22 to 24 to elect 2,970 representatives from 330 province assembly constituencies, informed RPP publicity coordinator Mohan Shrestha.

RPP will elect nine representatives from each Province Assembly constituency based on inclusiveness according to which, three from Khas Arya, three from women, one from Janajati, one from Dalit, one from minority, Muslim, Tharu will be elected.

A total of 4,500 including those elected from sister organizations of the party and those nominated by the chairman will be the representatives for the general convention.
