Cabinet to be expanded by tomorrow: Maoist Spokesperson Mahara

KATHMANDU: Maoist Center Spokesperson Krishna Bahadur Mahara has said that the cabinet expansion will take place by tomorrow.

Emerging out from the meeting of the party’s Standing Committee Wednesday, Spokesperson Mahara said that the cabinet was delayed due to the ordinance on party split.

According to him, a meeting of the ruling coalition on Wednesday will finalize the names of the cabinet ministers.

Now that the ordinance has been finalized, the cabinet expansion will take place today or tomorrow, according to Mahara.

Spokesperson Mahara told journalists that the government is preparing to introduce a bill in the parliament on Thursday to replace the ordinance related to political parties.
