PM Deuba calls meeting of ruling coalition; to discuss cabinet expansion

KATHMANDU: Top leaders of the ruling coalition are meeting Wednesday evening to discuss cabinet expansion.

Top leaders of the ruling coalition have intensified discussions on cabinet expansion amid widespread criticism for failing to expand the cabinet even after two and a half months of the formation of the Deuba-led government.

A meeting of the coalition leaders was held on Tuesday as well.

Maoist Center Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal “Prachanda” has been piling pressure on PM Deuba to expand the cabinet at the earliest.

It should be noted that PM Deuba appointed Dr Narayan Khadka as the Foreign Minister on Wednesday.
