UML Vice Chair Rawal skeptic over Chairman Oli’s honesty

Says Oli is unlikely to implement 10-point agreement

KATHMANDU: CPN-UML Vice-Chairman Dr. Bhim Rawal has again gone skeptic over party chair KP Oli’s sincerity towards the 10 point agreement made earlier by a joint taskforce formed by both Oli and leader Madhav Kumar Nepal.

Disappointed at party Chairman Oli’s unwillingness to meet the leaders of disgruntled faction formerly seen close to leader Nepal, Dr. Rawal remarked on Sunday that the Chairman is unlikely to implement the agreement.

He made the remarks during a discussion among leaders in his group.

Earlier, Chairman Oli had rejected the ultimatum given by 57 leaders, including Rawal, to implement the 10 agreement.

If Oli does not implement the ten-point agreement by next Wednesday, some leaders of Nepal faction still reiterating on party unity are likely to join the new party.

A meeting of pro-unity leaders held in Maharajgunj on Friday had concluded that there would be a revolt if party chairman did not implement the agreement by Wednesday.
