UML Vice-Chair Gautam breaks silence, says he is still in UML

KATHMANDU: CPN-UML Vice-Chairman Bamdev Gautam has made it clear that he is still in the party.

Responding to the rumors that UML Vice-Chair has joined Madhav Kumar Nepal led CPN (Unified Socialist), Gautam’s secretariat made it clear on Sunday that he is still in the UML.

However, the statement issued by the secretariat on Sunday has mentioned that leader Gautam had reservation with working style of the party leadership.

‘It came into our notice that some newspaper and social media have been circulating the news that Comrade Bamdev Gautam has joined CPN (United Socialist) and is going to be a minister soon,” the statement said, “Obviously, despite holding some differences in the working style of the leadership, comrade Gautam is still in UML. To state it otherwise it is to defame and stain his honor.”
