Lalitpur Metropolis to vaccinate 2,500 residents with Covisheild’s second dose Wednesday



KATHMANDU: Lalitpur Metropolitan City is set to administer second dose of Covisheild vaccines to 2,500 people, including elderly citizens aged over 75, of the sub-metropolis Wednesday.

The vaccination program will be administered to the metropolitan residents from 10 am to 4 pm at selected centers.

Issuing a notice Tuesday, the metropolis informed that the second dose would be given to 2,220 senior citizens (aged above 75) and the rest of the 2,500 to people’s representatives, employees and health workers, all of whom have received the first dose.

To get vaccinated, metropolis residents should visit vaccination centers with the recommendation of the ward office concerned, vaccination card received after getting the first dose and identity certificate that discloses age.

Vaccination centers have been set up at Livestock Services Training Center in Lagankhel, Patan High School, premises of the sub-metropolitan office, Dhapakhel Health Post, Balkumari School (Sunakothi), Karyabinayak School, Harisiddhi Health Post and Saibu Health Post.
