Gandaki Province to confer ‘Corona Frontier Excellent Service Award’

POKHARA: Gandaki Province has decided to confer the ‘Corona Frontier Excellent Service Award’ to the health workers who worked untiringly to control coronavirus risking their life. Chief Minister Krishna Chandra Nepali Pokhrel informed that necessary resources were ensured by prioritizing the control of coronavirus and treatment of the infected ones.

The province government’s policy and programs for 2078/79 has mentioned the coordination and cooperation among the federal and local levels to conduct awareness and tests and manage vaccines against Covid-19.

CM Pokhrel further informed that the provincial government had allocated an adequate budget for the development of all health institutions for the delivery of quality health service.

Availability of medical equipment and necessary medicines are also the priorities, he added. The children, who lost their parents to the Covid-19, will be provided monetary relief.

Similarly, the health workers and security persons are on the list to get the incentives for the special role in the crisis.
