Nepal records 8,980 new coronavirus cases in last 24 hours



KATHMANDU: Nepal recorded a total of 8,980 new cases of coronavirus infection in the past 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 8,591  persons have tested positive for COVID-19 through the RT-PCR method while 389 have been tested positive through the Antigen method.

Meanwhile, 8,848 persons have returned home after complete health recovery from COVID-19.

According to the Ministry, 129 people have succumbed to COVID-19 in the past 24 hours.
