President’s move collusion to end federal democratic republic: JSP leader Bhattarai

KATHMANDU:  Federal Council Chairman of Janata Samajwadi Party (JSP) Dr Baburam Bhattarai has described the President’s move as a conspiracy to end federal democratic republic by scrapping the Constitution rather than the announcement of the mid-term polls.

Taking to Twitter, leader Bhattarai said, “The President’s move to declare the mid-term polls on the recommendation of the Prime Minister is a collusion to wipe out the federal democratic republic alongside with the Constitution which began from since December 20.”

President Bhandari has dissolved the House of Representatives on the recommendation of the Prime Minister and announced the mid-term elections for November 12 and 19, a year ahead of schedule.
