Nepse decreased by 24.08 points

KATHMANDU: The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index has decreased by 24.08 points on Sunday.
With today’s decline, the index has come down to 2514.39 points.

A total of 61,488 shares of 211 companies were traded 61,488 times today, resulting in a turnover of Rs 5.35 billion.
The hotel and tourism group increased by 104.97 points and the hydropower group by 101.73 points.
The sub-indices of all other groups have marked red.

The sub-index of the largest life insurance group decreased by 315.96 points.

Similarly, the banking group decreased by 21.48 points, the trade group by 16.5 points, the development bank group by 19.53 points, the finance group by 8.19 points, and the non-life insurance group by 183.58 points.

Likewise, manufacturing, microfinance, life insurance, investment, and other groups decreased by 129.22, 92.78, 1.4, and 30.62 points respectively.
