Fire at school damages more than Rs 3.5 million

DHANKUTA: A fire at Hamro Bahumukhi Pathshala, Madanchowk, Dhankuta has scorched the property worth more than Rs 3.5 million.

According to Saroj Bhujel, a director of the school, the fire started at the school at around 2 am this morning.

Bhujel informed that the fire damaged the property worth 3.5 million before it was put out with the help of the fire brigades from Dhankuta.

The school used to offer technical education including potter, stitching the leaf plates, folk dance, and physical fitness among many others.
